From the National Textile Museum in Thimphu in the west show casing the country’s rich weaving heritage to remote villages in the East, where you will take part in a natural dye workshop and visit handloom production centres.
Starting our journey in Delhi, we will fly into Paro in the west of Bhutan, greeted and be taken care of by our English-speaking guide & driver. Traveling in comfortable buses, through the lush pristine jungles, and deep valleys, full of wildlife and fauna, resting in comfortable hotels with delicious local food. I have now had the privilege of travelling in Bhutan a couple of times, and it is an extraordinary experience, arriving in Paro is magical, transported into an altogether other world, that feels like the last of the unspoilt fronters.
