We are currently looking for some part-time assistance at Cloth Atelier HQ in Kenilworth.
​
The Job Role:
-
15 - 20 hrs per week, Monday - Friday, primarily in the mornings, with some flexibility and possibility of extra hours during the shows.
-
You will assist with picking, cutting and packing orders.
-
Updating the online inventory and maintaining stock levels.
-
Preparing cloth for fat quarter and scrap bundles.
-
Ironing and preparing cloth for sale.
There may be scope to progress the role and take on additional responsibilities.
Who we are looking for:
-
Experience with dressmaking/ sewing and a passion for textiles.
-
A friendly and approachable person with a can-do attitude.
-
Experience of working in a similar industry is an advantage.
-
Some-one local to the Kenilworth area, with access to their own transport due to the rural location.

What you need to know:
-
We are a small and friendly team of 3, looking for the perfect person to join us.
-
We are based on a working farm, in an old grain store; being comfortable around animals and tractors is an advantage!

Due to the nature of the job, you need to be physically active, and able to stand on your feet for periods of time. Packing orders and cutting cloth can be physically demanding.

We are always on the look-out for staff to help us at shows.
We exhibit at a variety of shows throughout-out the year, around the UK.
​
What we are looking for:
-
A friendly and approachable person, with an active interest in sewing and textiles.
-
Dressmaking experience and ability to read and advise on sewing patterns.
-
Customer service/ retail experience.
​
What you need to know:
-
Working exhibitions can be quite intense, you need to be physically fit and active, as you are standing for long periods of the day.
-
Ability to work well under pressure - the shows can be fast paced, so you need to be able talk to customers, answer questions, cut and fold fabric, and operate a card machine.

Happy to get stuck-in - working with us at the shows can include helping to set-up or breakdown the show stand, serving customers, keeping the stand tidy, doing the tea round.....

Midlands - Festival of Quilts, NEC, Birmingham 31st July - 3rd August

London - Knitting and Stitching Show, Alexandra Palace, 9th - October

Harrogate - Knitting and Stitching Show, 20th-23rd November

London - Stitch festival, Islington , March 2026
