We are always on the look-out for staff to help us at shows. 

We exhibit at a variety of shows throughout-out the year, around the UK. 

​

What we are looking for: 

• A friendly and approachable person, with an active interest in sewing and textiles.

• Dressmaking experience and ability to read and advise on sewing patterns. 

• Customer service/ retail experience. 

​

What you need to know: 

• Working exhibitions can be quite intense, you need to be physically fit and active, as you are standing for long periods of the day. 

• Ability to work well under pressure - the shows can be fast paced, so you need to be able talk to customers, answer questions, cut and fold fabric, and operate a card machine. 

• Happy to get stuck-in - working with us at the shows can include helping to set-up or breakdown the show stand, serving customers, keeping the stand tidy, doing the tea round.....

We are looking for staff local to the following locations: 

• Midlands - Festival of Quilts, NEC, Birmingham 31st July - 3rd August

• London - Knitting and Stitching Show, Alexandra Palace, 9th - October

• Harrogate - Knitting and Stitching Show, 20th-23rd November

• London - Stitch festival, Islington , March 2026
